Our Tours
Suðuroy is a place often overlooked by visitors short on time, and yet, it remains one of the most alluring islands in the archipelago. The Island is isolated in the south and bears the full brunt of the ferocious Atlantic weather, blustery winds, freak storms and raging swells are not uncommon. Suðuroy is a dream destination for those who love nature and outdoor activities. It is an exceptional place to travel in because there is no need to go far to experience outstanding and unspoiled nature.
Experience the island through the eyes of a local private guide! We are offering guided tours of smaller groups from 2 and up to 8 persons. It is a guided 4 hours tour where we will visit some of the most spectacular places on the on the Island.
The tour starts with pick-up by our driver guide at the hotel or where the guest is staying.
We at ARA Tours would like to show our guest the very best of the specular nature that our Island has to offer. After the tour we are offering lunch for the morning tour and dinner for the afternoon tour.
Like everywhere in the Faroe Islands, the further you move from the Torshavn, the harder it becomes to eat out and Suðuroy is no exception.
We at ARA Tours is offering our guest to combine the guided tour with either lunch or dinner.
This choice is optional. The lunch option is for the morning The dinner option is for the afternoon tour
For Lunch we are serving a fish soup.
For Dinner where we will serve fish with beer or wine, Afterwards we will serve coffee and something sweet as desert.
